Good Thursday morning! Temperatures are cooler today with the clearing we saw overnight. Tennessee is averaging a difference of 8 degrees since this time yesterday. Some of the higher elevations were under a frost advisory last night, but warmer temperatures are ahead. High pressure will continue to nose in from our north and west giving us the pleasant and importantly warm conditions we have been waiting for. This afternoon through Saturday will stay dry with temperatures gradually climbing each day. By Sunday, a wave and warm front will bring isolated to scattered showers for the day and again into Monday. An afternoon thunderstorms can't be ruled out each day. Overall, the trend is finally of Spring. Temperatures will continue to warm through early next week with a few showers toward the end of the weekend and into Monday. Take advantage of the pleasant and dry conditions and don't forget to submit pictures to [email protected] or by tagging us on Twitter/Facebook. Pre-recorded for 5pm show
