Good morning to all! Even with the heavy showers yesterday, temperatures were finally near the norm for this time of the year. Unfortunately, today tells a different story. As you can see below, a cold front continues to progress to our east, leaving the state 10 to 15 degrees cooler than this time yesterday. That will be the trend through much of this week, as highs won't return to average until late weekend to early next week. Overall, the weather pattern this week will be somewhat quiet. Drier air will funnel in this afternoon, leaving sunshine for Tuesday. A brief "shortwave" (area of energy) will bring shower chances late Wednesday and into the day Thursday (isolated to scattered), otherwise we remain mostly dry. Sunshine will again find its way in for Friday and high pressure is set to dominate the Tennessee and Ohio Valley late in the work week and early in the weekend. We made it short and sweet today...for more information, check out our video forecast below or visit the "Weekly Forecast" tab for a graphical outlook. Have a good one!
