Mother Nature is leaving us "high and dry" the next few days, as high pressure anchors itself across the Deep South. As a result, we will see temperatures climb through Thursday, with highs today in the upper 50s and finding the 70s by Wednesday and Thursday. Dry weather will remain in tact until closer to Thursday night, when a low pressure system looks to bring widespread rainfall and a few isolated thunderstorms. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible with this system Friday into the weekend. Pre-recorded for 5pm weather broadcast
