Cloud cover early will thin out by mid morning, setting up mostly sunny skies by this afternoon. Highs will be a bit cooler, thanks to the passage of our most recent cold front, topping out in the upper 50s to low 60s. Fortunately, a quick warm up finds us Friday into the weekend, with highs in the upper 60s to 70s during this time. Some could even reach 80 degrees Sunday afternoon. Dry weather is also planned now through Sunday, with our next unsettled weather not arriving until Monday and into Tuesday. Pre-recorded for 5pm weather broadcast
Skies will be slow to clear today, but we should see increasing sunshine through the afternoon. By tomorrow, sunshine will be in full force, continuing through the end of the work week and into the weekend. A cold front is just now east of the area, with cooler air to funnel in for Thursday. Highs tomorrow to peak in the lower 60s, before quickly warming to the 70s by the start of the weekend. Some could even reach 80 by Sunday afternoon. Pre-recorded for 5pm weather broadcast
Showers will burden the area much of today, as a low pressure system skirts by north and west of the state. Highs will be cooler as a result, topping out around the 60 mark today. The good news is, activity should end tonight into Wednesday morning, leaving us plenty of sunshine and warming temperatures through the rest of the work week and into the weekend. Highs climb into the low to mid 70s by Saturday. Pre-recorded for 5pm weather broadcast
It's going to be a cloudy one, but we'll remain dry through the day, as our next system approaches. Showers will eventually build in tonight through Tuesday, followed by drier conditions the second half of the work week. Highs today should peak near to just above average (mid to upper 60s), with slightly cooler air in store Tuesday with rainfall. Nonetheless, we will warm right back up, with highs in the 70s expected this weekend. Check out our video forecast below for more, as well as our 5-day forecast at the top of the page! Lots of sunshine across the Smokies mid morning, with current (9:30 am) temperatures in the low to mid 40s in the valley. Elsewhere, a little cooler with upper 30s across the plateau and foothills. Progressing through the day, everyone should warm up nicely, with highs in the mid 60s for many. High clouds will increase this afternoon and tonight, ahead of our next weather disturbance. In terms of rainfall, upwards of half an inch is expected for most, but locally up to an inch is possible for those further south and east. The timing of rainfall varies, with low end chances late tonight into Friday morning and the best chances Friday afternoon through the early nighttime hours. The good news, rainfall should be out of the way by mid morning Saturday, with cloud cover slowly eroding the later half of the day. Sunshine returns in full blast on Sunday, with temperatures a few degrees warmer (in the lower 60s) as well. Aside from our quick clip of rainfall Friday into early Saturday, things should be quiet and relatively seasonal. Winds will be a little breezy Saturday with the passage of the system and we'll see another opportunity for rainfall Monday night towards midweek. Have a good one and enjoy the early Spring season!
Happy Spring! A beautiful day is set, with highs in the mid and upper 60s under mostly sunny skies. We'll continue to enjoy pleasant conditions again into Thursday, before a quick moving round of showers passes through into Friday. The good news? We should dry back out to enjoy a good portion of the weekend, with highs in the low to mid 60s Saturday and Sunday. Pre-recorded for 5pm weather broadcast

A cold start to the new work week and a similar feel is in store for Tuesday morning as well. A cold front has recently passes through and we are feeling the cooler air on the backside. Other than a few passing clouds today, plenty of sunshine is in store with highs in the 40s to low 50s. The good news is lots of sunshine moving forward, with temperatures on the rise as well. Highs will climb back into the mid 60s by Wednesday. Our next chance for showers doesn't arrive until late Thursday night and into Friday. Pre-recorded for 5pm weather broadcast
