Quick Moving Disturbance Passes Through Tonight

A quick moving system arrives tonight, bringing widespread rainfall to East Tennessee. As colder air filters in, a brief transition to wintry mix is possible late tonight/early Sat, with the higher terrain having the highest probability. As such, the plateau and foothills could see light snowfall accumulations, while only a few wet flakes are expected here in the valley. Skies clear back up through Saturday, with sunshine in full force Sunday to early next week.
