High pressure shifts east today, allowing for moisture to increase out of the south. As it does so, a few isolated showers and storms could pop up this afternoon. A slow moving frontal boundary will then approach Saturday and throughout the holiday weekend, bringing widespread showers and storms each day. Some could bring heavy rainfall rates, leading to isolated flash flooding. The best chances for this will be Sunday and Labor Day (Monday).
